Who Ahren Belisle is

Ahren Belisle is a Canadian stand-up comedian from North Bay, Ontario, who has cerebral palsy, is nonverbal and delivers his punchlines through a text-to-speech app on his phone. A former software engineer, he was encouraged to try comedy after his heckling won over the audience and performers at a show he attended on vacation in Portugal, then earned a Golden Ticket on the Kill Tony podcast and reached the finals of America's Got Talent's eighteenth season in 2023. He appeared in AMI-tv's 2024 special All Access Comedy, whose performers shared a 2025 Canadian Screen Award nomination for writing.
