Who Abandoman is
Abandoman is the stage name of Rob Broderick, an Irish hip-hop musical comedian who turns his audience's likes, loathes and daydreams into improvised songs and stories. In 2010 he won the Musical Comedy Awards and the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year, and he has also been named Best Comedy Newcomer at the Adelaide Fringe.
He has headlined the comedy stages at Glastonbury, Latitude and Reading and Leeds, played in the house band for Alan Carr's Happy Hour on Channel 4 alongside Craig David, taken the Dictionary Corner seat on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, and supported and toured with Ed Sheeran. In 2026 he took his show Afterglow to Underbelly in Edinburgh in August and to London's Underbelly Boulevard in September.
