Who Tudur Owen is
Tudur Owen is a comedian, broadcaster and author from Anglesey whose stand-up began with a five-minute set at the Eisteddfod Môn in 1999 and went on to comedy clubs across Wales and England and some fifteen years at the Edinburgh Fringe, with shows such as Worst Zoo in Britain (2008), The LL Factor (2016), Normal Wear and Tear (2017), Undemanding (2018) and Alive Huw (2022).
Owen writes and presents a BBC Radio Cymru show, has made Where On Earth Is Anglesey? (2019) and Zoo (2020) for BBC Radio 4, presented TV Flashback on BBC One Wales and starred in S4C's The PC Leslie Wynne Show, and has won a BAFTA as a presenter. Bangor University made Owen an honorary Doctor of Literature in 2022, and in 2026 Owen was President of the Day at the Urdd National Eisteddfod on Anglesey.
