Who Troy Hawke is

Troy Hawke is a character comedian, an erudite throwback to the 1930s created by Milo McCabe, known for viral videos of paying strangers compliments in the street as president of The Greeters Guild. Billed as an acclaimed stand-up, Troy has taken a show to the Edinburgh Fringe each year from 2021 to 2026, from Sigmund Troy'd to The Greeters Guild (2024) and Never Stop, Never Change!

(2026), and has appeared on the BBC's Live at the Apollo. A sell-out world tour in 2025 and a sell-out at the Netflix Is a Joke Festival were followed by a North American tour in September 2026, from Toronto's Jane Mallett Theatre to City Winery in New York, and his full special, KANYE, IKEA and ME (aka 'Tiles of the Unexpected!'), is on his YouTube channel.
