Who Steve Byrne is

Steve Byrne is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer and director, born in Freehold, New Jersey, and raised in Pittsburgh, who first went on stage at Stand Up New York in 1997. In 2003 he set a record by doing 13 sets in one night at Manhattan comedy clubs, filmed as the documentary 13 or Bust. His hour specials include Happy Hour and The Byrne Identity for Comedy Central, Champion for Netflix and The Last Late Night on Prime Video, and he has appeared on The Tonight Show ten times. He created, wrote and starred in the TBS sitcom Sullivan & Son, which ran for three seasons, directed the documentary Always Amazing about The Amazing Johnathan, and wrote and directed The Opening Act, a 2020 feature about his early years in stand-up.
