Who Siv Ngesi is
Siv Ngesi is a South African comedian, actor, television presenter and producer who performs his own one-man comedy shows across South Africa and has produced shows for other comedians. He was on the bill of the Jive Cape Town Funny Festival at the Baxter Theatre in 2013, 2015 and 2018.
He began performing at the age of nine in a production of Les Misérables that toured Asia, and his screen work includes the films Invictus and Long Walk to Freedom and the series 24; on South African television he has presented the magazine show Man Cave, the travel show Winging It and the cooking show Jou Ma se Chef, and in 2011 the Mail & Guardian named him its Most Influential Young South African.
