Who Sean Keane is

Sean Keane is a stand-up comedian and writer from the San Francisco Bay Area who grew up in the East Bay, began putting on stand-up shows while editing the humour magazine The Heuristic Squelch at Berkeley, and started doing stand-up himself in 2005. In 2014 the SF Bay Guardian named him the best comedian in San Francisco, and he has written for Another Period, Billy on the Street, NBC, Comedy Central, ESPN The Magazine and McSweeney's.

His debut full-length album, America's Uncle Dad, recorded at the Punch Line in San Francisco, came out on Blonde Medicine on 15 March 2024, and two of its tracks, Mom Goes Online and Problem Consonants, were played on SiriusXM's Raw Comedy channel in July and December that year. He also co-hosts the NBA podcast Roundball Rock.
