Who Samira Banks is

Samira Banks is a UK stand-up comedian of Middle Eastern heritage who won So You Think You're Funny? in 2023. She has since been a finalist in Leicester Square Theatre's New Comedian of the Year and, in 2025, the Sean Lock Comedy Award, appeared on television in the BBC New Comedy Awards, and played the BBC Comedy Festival, the Kilkenny Comedy Festival and Latitude. She also writes for BBC Radio 4's The News Quiz.
