Who Sam Campbell is

Sam Campbell is an Australian stand-up comedian from Queensland, known for surreal shows full of unexpected jokes, built around his own homemade slides and animations. He won the Barry Award for Most Outstanding Show at the 2018 Melbourne International Comedy Festival with The Trough, after sharing the festival's 2016 Directors' Choice Award with Tom Walker and Aaron Chen for Zanzoop - Feeble Minds.

In 2022 his Comedy Show won Best Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, and in 2023 he was champion of the sixteenth series of Channel 4's Taskmaster and a Malcolm Hardee Award nominee. At the 2024 Chortle Awards he won Breakthrough Act and was named comedians' comedian by his peers, and he co-hosts the podcast Lucy and Sam's Perfect Brains with Lucy Beaumont.
