Who Ryan Long is
Ryan Long is a Canadian stand-up comedian, filmmaker and podcaster from Toronto who moved to the United States in 2019 and is based in New York City, where he performs regularly at the Comedy Cellar, New York Comedy Club and The Stand. He built his audience with weekly satirical sketches on YouTube, and before that created, starred in and ran the digital series Torontopia and That Guy for CBC Comedy and the TV series Ryan Long is Challenged on BITE TV. His stand-up specials, including White Immigrant (2022) and Problem Solved (2024), are free to stream on YouTube, and he hosts the podcast The Boyscast with Ryan Long. Before comedy he was the lead singer of the ska-punk band The Johnstones.
