Who Robert Wuhl is

Robert Wuhl is an actor, writer and comedian who began his career in stand-up comedy and was featured as a comedian on An Evening at the Improv, in an episode hosted by Leslie Nielsen. He won Emmy Awards in 1991 and 1992 for writing the Academy Awards telecasts, created and starred in HBO's Arliss from 1996 to 2002, and in 2006 delivered Assume the Position with Mr. Wuhl, a comedic lecture for HBO on the facts and myths of American history, followed by a second installment. His films include Bull Durham (1988) and Tim Burton's Batman (1989), in which he played the reporter Alexander Knox.
