Who Riaad Moosa is
Riaad Moosa is a South African stand-up comedian and actor, a medical graduate who began in comedy on SABC1's Pure Monate Show and became known as the comedy doctor, hosting Keeping You in Stitches. Moosa has been in the cast of the Jive Cape Town Funny Festival across nearly two decades, from 2005 to 2023, and starred in the 2012 comedy-drama Material, a South African box-office hit that went on to festivals abroad, later reprising the role in the sequel New Material. Moosa's stand-up specials include Doctor's Orders and What's the Point?, released on Moosa's own YouTube channel in 2026.
