Who Nurse Blake is

Nurse Blake is a stand-up comedian and former nurse who turned the everyday life of hospital work into a touring comedy show. He earned his nursing degree at the University of Central Florida and worked in trauma and surgical intensive care before videos he made to help fellow nurses laugh through long shifts grew into a following of millions.

Since 2019 he has toured theatres and clubs with shows including the Call Light, PTO, Shock Advised and But Did You Die? tours, selling more than 200,000 tickets, and The New York Times called him a genuine phenomenon. He also created NurseCon at Sea, a nursing conference held on a cruise, and has written two children's books, I Want To Be A Nurse When I Grow Up and Santa Sent to the E.R.
