Who Neil Rubenstein is

Neil Rubenstein is a stand-up comedian, a burly, tattooed comic whose act plays against type as kind and cerebral. He has toured with Chelcie Lynn (Trailer Trash Tammy), Ashley Gavin and the rock band Motion City Soundtrack, opens for friends such as Liz Miele, Taking Back Sunday and Bayside, and has been on podcasts including Jim & Sam and Kill Tony.

He won World Series of Comedy satellite contests in Pittsburgh and Boston in 2018, Wichita in 2019 and Louisville in 2023, and headlined the Laugh Out Loveland Comedy Fest in 2023 and the Badgerland and Coullion comedy festivals in 2025. His debut special, Have Some Dignity, came out on Equal Vision Records in March 2024, and his track This Is The Tile Track was played on SiriusXM's Raw Comedy channel in March 2025.

Rubenstein toured with Ben Bailey from October to December 2023, played Fest 22 and Fest 23 in Gainesville, Florida, in 2024 and 2025, and appeared on episode 716 of Kill Tony on 28 April 2025. Earlier he took second place in the 2017 Long Island Laugh Off at Governor's and was a finalist in the 2017 San Diego Comedy Festival's clean competition at the Comedy Palace.
