Who Miles Jupp is

Miles Jupp is an English actor, writer and stand-up comedian who won the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year and So You Think You're Funny? in 2001 and was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2003.

His stand-up hours include Gentlemen Prefer Brogues, Fibber in the Heat (A Cricket Tale), the story of posing as a cricket journalist on a tour of India, Songs of Freedom (2016) and On I Bang (2024), and Comedy Dynamics released the specials Miles Jupp Is the Chap You're Thinking Of and Fibber in the Heat in 2018. He has played Live at the Apollo and Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, hosted BBC Radio 4's The News Quiz from 2016 to 2019, and played John Duggan in The Thick of It and Nigel McCall in Rev.
