Mark Christopher Lawrence is an American stand-up comedian, character actor and voice-over artist who grew up in Compton, California, and studied acting at USC. Best known as Big Mike on NBC's Chuck, he played the DJ Tone Def in Fear of a Black Hat (1994), appeared in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Planet of the Apes and The Pursuit of Happyness and on Seinfeld, Martin and My Name Is Earl, and voices Ed Washington in the radio series Adventures in Odyssey. His stand-up special Clean Outta Compton came out through Comedy Dynamics in 2018, and in 2022 he played Pastor Dave in the faith-based film Family Camp.
