Who Lenny Clarke is

Lenny Clarke is a legendary Boston stand-up comedian and actor known for his bold, sarcastic wit and unmistakable Boston accent, who rose to fame in the 1980s and for years hosted the open-mic nights at Cambridge's Ding Ho Comedy Club. Rodney Dangerfield gave him his first big break in Nothin' Goes Right and later worked with him on Meet Wally Sparks, and after being discovered at the Montreal comedy festival he starred in his own series, Lenny, which ran for 18 episodes.

He was featured in Denis Leary's FX series Rescue Me and in films including There's Something About Mary, Me, Myself & Irene, Stuck on You and Fever Pitch, and he has appeared on The John Larroquette Show, The Job and Hollywood Squares and hosted The Sunday Comics. He gives his time to charities across Massachusetts, and his track Role Model Gronk was among the most-played on SiriusXM's Raw Dog Comedy channel in February 2023.
