Jordan Gray
Who Jordan Gray is
Jordan Gray is a comedian and musician who first came to national attention in 2016 as the first trans performer on BBC One's The Voice UK. Her show Is It A Bird?, which weaves her own music into the comedy, was a hit at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe, made her the first trans person to play the London Palladium solo, was nominated for Most Outstanding Show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2023, played the Utrecht International Comedy Festival and toured the UK and Ireland that autumn; filmed in her Essex home-town theatre, it became her first television special, on Channel 4.
Her second hour, Is That a C*ck in Your Pocket, or Are You Just Here to Kill Me?, was shortlisted for Best Show at the 2025 ISH Edinburgh Comedy Awards.
