Who Joe Bor is

Joe Bor is a stand-up comedian, writer, actor and filmmaker who performs regularly at clubs across the UK and has worked as the warm-up comedian for The Graham Norton Show, Mock the Week and 8 Out of 10 Cats. His stand-up hour A Room with a Jew came out through Comedy Dynamics in 2020, and The Story of Walter and Herbert, released in 2021, is an hour of narrative comedy about the friendship between his grandfather, the town planner Walter Bor, and the comedy actor Herbert Lom, from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia to Britain.

He was nominated for English Comedian of the Year, was named Comedian of the Year at the Leicester Square Theatre as his character Jasper Cromwell Jones, and as a filmmaker won a Webby Award for his work with LADbible and BuzzFeed; his documentaries include Ian Cognito: A Life and Death Onstage.
