Who Gary Delaney is

Gary Delaney is a British stand-up comedian who works in one-liners; his seventh ever gig, in 1997, was on ITV's The Warehouse. He was a regular on Mock the Week, and his nine minutes of one-liners on Live at the Apollo has been viewed more than sixty million times online. His full shows Comedy Club Classics 2000-2013, recorded at Liverpool's Hot Water Comedy Club, and a second special covering 2014 to 2017 are on his own channel; he toured Gary in Punderland in 2022, his most recent tour ran for two and a half years and 378 shows, and he has published the joke book Pundamentalist. Emo Philips quotes him calling Philips the best joke writer in the world.
