Doogie Horner
Who Doogie Horner is
Doogie Horner is a stand-up comedian, author and illustrator known for quirky, intelligent and generally clean comedy, which the AV Club called dry and a little deadpan. He became widely known as a semi-finalist on the fifth season of America's Got Talent, where the viral video of his first audition shows him winning over a booing audience; he went on to perform four rounds. His albums are A Delicate Man (Comedy Dynamics, 2016), an AV Club staff pick, Dad Max (Helium Comedy Records, 2022) and The Bee's Knees (2025), and a special he recorded in Philadelphia in 2023 is on YouTube.
A former book designer who created the covers of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, he writes and illustrates The Adventures of Invisible Boy graphic novels, named best graphic novel of 2024 by The Week Junior, and his other books include A Die Hard Christmas and This Might Hurt a Bit. His track Pets & Kids was played on SiriusXM's Raw Comedy channel in November 2023.
