Don Friesen
Who Don Friesen is
Don Friesen is a high-energy stand-up comedian whose act mines parenting, marriage and everyday absurdity. His self-produced special Inexplicable, filmed at Sacramento's Crest Theater in 2006, became a staple of satellite radio's comedy channels as a CD, his one-hour special Ask Your Mom premiered on Showtime in June 2012, and his Dry Bar Comedy special Live in Provo followed in 2017. He won the San Francisco comedy competition in 1999 and again in 2005, and opened for Counting Crows and the Goo Goo Dolls before arena crowds at Novell's BrainShare convention in Salt Lake City.
