Who Cassie Workman is

Cassie Workman is an Australian stand-up comedian, storyteller and writer from Western Australia who won the national RAW Comedy competition in 2009 and Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2011 with Humans Are Beautiful.

Her shows have since won Best Comedy at the Adelaide Fringe with Mercy (2012), the Director's Choice at the Sydney Comedy Festival with Ave Loretta (2013) and the Sydney Comedy Festival's Best of the Fest in 2019 with Giantess, and her show You Are Here was nominated for Most Outstanding Show at the Melbourne festival in 2026. On television she has written for Shaun Micallef's Mad as Hell and was head writer on Aaron Chen Tonight for ABC2, and she has appeared on It's a Date and Tonightly with Tom Ballard.
