Brody Stevens
Also known as Steven Brody Stevens
Who Brody Stevens is
Brody Stevens was an American stand-up comedian and actor, a fixture of the Los Angeles comedy club circuit and the Comedy Store, known for a style that mixed confrontation and self-deprecation and for never doing the same show twice. He honed his stand-up in Seattle, where he also had a public-access television show, and became the warm-up comedian who got studio audiences laughing for Chelsea Lately and The Burn with Jeff Ross.
With his friend Zach Galifianakis he created and starred in Brody Stevens: Enjoy It!, which grew from an HBO web series into a Comedy Central series in 2013 and 2014, and he appeared in the films The Hangover, The Hangover Part II, Due Date and Jesus Is Magic. He died in Los Angeles in February 2019, aged 48, and Comedy Central remembered him as 'a groundbreaking comedian'; his stand-up was still being played on SiriusXM's Raw Comedy channel in 2024 and on its successor, Sebastian Maniscalco's Comedy Radio, in May 2026.
