Who Bob Stromberg is
Bob Stromberg is a Minnesota-based comedian and writer whose act is a blend of story, stand-up and shtick, performed around the world for more than forty years. Raised in rural Pennsylvania, Stromberg earned an art degree from North Park College in Chicago and studied with the mime Tony Montanaro in Maine before writing for the stage comedy Triple Espresso, where Stromberg originated the role of Bobby Bean and played it for the show's first ten years.
Stromberg's one-man show That Wonder Boy premiered at the Music Box Theater in Minneapolis in 2008 and won top honors at the United Solo Theatre Festival in New York, and the Dry Bar Comedy special I'm a Pretty Big Deal was released by Comedy Dynamics in 2020.
