Bill Santiago
Who Bill Santiago is
Bill Santiago is a New York stand-up comedian, author and radio host who turned to comedy after nearly becoming a journalist. His first television special, Comedy Central Presents: Bill Santiago, made his comedy about Spanglish, 'twice the vocabulary, half the grammar!', known across the country and led to his book Pardon My Spanglish (Quirk Books, 2008), which universities and high schools use to talk about identity and language; a second half-hour special followed on Showtime's LOL. He hosted the daily SiriusXM show Total BS, brought comic commentary to CNN's Saturday mornings in the segment Santiago's Weekly Pop Wrapup, and has toured his show The Immaculate Big Bang: Religion, Science, Laughs at Fringe festivals.
