Who Ashley Storrie is

Ashley Storrie is a Scottish stand-up comedian, actor and writer whose solo Edinburgh Fringe hours run from Very Tall Storrie (2015) through Morning Glory (2017) and Adulting (2018) to Hysterical (2019). With Matilda Curtis, Storrie created and wrote the BBC Three and BBC Scotland sitcom Dinosaur and stars in it; ordered as a six-part series after a 2021 pilot and recommissioned in 2024, the show led that year's Scottish BAFTA nominations and won Storrie the awards for best writer in film and television, shared with Curtis, and the audience's favourite Scot on screen.

On radio Storrie has a BBC Radio 4 series of her own, What's the Story, Ashley Storrie?, and in August 2026 joined Ian Smith and Bella Hull on the Radio 4 pilot The People Have Spoken.
