Who Artie Fletcher is

Artie Fletcher is a stand-up comedian, billed as New York City's Bad Boy, whose career in comedy, film, television, commercials and voice-overs spanned fifty years. He performed stand-up on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, the Late Show with David Letterman and The Tonight Show, acted in Law & Order, NYPD Blue and Third Watch, and played Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Radio City Music Hall, the Westbury Music Fair and the Toyota and Chicago comedy festivals.

Over his career he performed in 49 states and 16 countries and opened for more than 250 acts, among them Tony Bennett, Joan Rivers, Lou Rawls, Wayne Newton, Frankie Valli, the Four Tops and the Temptations, and he toured with Gallagher and Bob Nelson on the Joke's On You Comedy Tour. He wrote the book Comedy On The Road, his track Turbulence was played on SiriusXM's Raw Dog Comedy channel in February 2023, and he has since said goodbye to touring on his own site, retiring on his own terms to manage Florida bands through Artie Fletcher Management and to teach and speak at corporate events.
