Who Andrew Maxwell is

Andrew Maxwell is a Dublin-born stand-up comedian who began his career in 1992 and has become a favourite at the Edinburgh Fringe, with shows such as Grand Royale, Waxin', which earned an Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination in 2007, Supernatural and All Talk. He was crowned King of Comedy in a Channel 4 series in 2004, named the comics' comic at the 2005 Chortle Awards, and has appeared on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week and Drunk History, as well as narrating MTV's Ex on the Beach and taking part in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2019.

A veteran of the circuit in Britain and Ireland and of arts festivals around the world, he toured his show Reality in 2020, and he features in the Galway Comedy Festival's television specials Stand & Deliver (2010) and Laughter in the Eyre (RTÉ2, 2019).
