Who Jimmy Cash is
Jimmy Cash is a Boston-based stand-up comedian who began performing in 2016 while working as an elementary school janitor, a job he has held for twenty years. His act draws on that work, on being a dad and on his long-term sobriety, and his clips on TikTok and Instagram have a large following, with videos featured on Barstool Sports and The Today Show.
A national headliner, he has worked alongside Shane Gillis, Bill Burr, Joe Dombrowski, Lenny Clarke and Robert Kelly, and was Bob Marley's opener for several years. He plays the Fenway Park groundskeeper in Plymouth Rock Assurance's long-running ad campaign The Bostonians, performs at clubs, theaters and private shows for school staff across the United States and Canada, and sold out the Wilbur Theatre in Boston. At the 2026 New York Comedy Festival he headlines Late For School, an hour about school life from the janitor's side.
