Who Maggie Winters is

Maggie Winters is a Chicago stand-up comedian, actor and character comic, known online as @saggiesplinters. She grew up on the city's South Side, trained in improv at The Second City and iO Chicago, and turned to stand-up in 2019. In 2023 she was named a Stand-Up New Face at the Just for Laughs festival and made Vulture's list of comedians you should and will know.

Her solo show Marguerite sold out in Chicago, ran at the 2024 Edinburgh Festival Fringe and is now a full special from Abso Lutely and the Upright Citizens Brigade. She plays Taryn in the third season of HBO's The Righteous Gemstones, has toured as a featured act on Connor Wood's Fibs & Friends tour, and headlines Zanies Chicago at the 2026 312 Comedy Festival.
