Who Joe Sib is

Joe Sib is a stand-up comedian, writer and storyteller who spent twenty years as a touring musician and co-founded the independent label SideOneDummy Records before turning to comedy. He has recorded comedy specials for Dry Bar Comedy and 800 Pound Gorilla, appeared on Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen, and released the album Nowhere Near the Top in 2017 and the EP You Don't Even Know in 2023. He opened for Metallica on the band's North American arena tour of 2018 and 2019 and has played comedy clubs, theatres and festivals.

At the Edinburgh Festival Fringe he made his debut in 2025 with California Calling and returned in 2026 with Aggie – A Comedy About Moms. His Dry Bar Comedy special Crockpot Chicken takes in magician phases, McDonald's runs and the musical effects of vaccinations, and in February 2026 Dry Bar Comedy posted his full special I Promised My Daughter I Wouldn’t Talk About This On Stage on its YouTube channel.
