Who Jesse Singh is
Jesse Singh, known as the Punjabi Timbit, is a stand-up comedian born and raised in Toronto, who took up stand-up after high school at his friends' urging and names Russell Peters, George Carlin, Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock and Patrice O'Neal among his influences. His debut album, Baby Goat, was recorded at Toronto's 50-seat Corner Comedy Club and released by Comedy Records in November 2023, and his short film Tales from the Mandem, which began as a social media sketch, won him the 2022 BIPOC Award for Best Actor. His credits include Just for Laughs, CBC and SiriusXM, and he hosts the podcast Creating Consciousness.
