Who Danny O'Brien is

Danny O'Brien is a Dublin-based Irish stand-up comedian with more than fifteen years on stage, known for sharp wit, an anecdotal style and storytelling, who headlines clubs and festivals across Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Asia. He was chosen for the Best of the Edinburgh Fest tour of Australia in 2016, 2018 and 2019, playing the Perth World Fringe, the Adelaide Fringe and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, opened for Bill Burr in Dublin in 2018 before more than 8,000 people, and is the resident host of The Comedy Crunch and The Laughter Lounge.

He has made more than fifty appearances on RTÉ, Virgin Media Television and TG4, contributes to RTÉ 2FM and appeared in Comedy Central's Brexit at Tiffany's in 2017, and in 2020 he launched Garden Gigs Ireland and raised more than €100,000 for charity through online shows.
