Who is Brett Hollis?
Brett Hollis is a clean stand-up comedian, speaker and storyteller from Milton, Washington, whose act is built on stories and observations about everyday life. Keeping his comedy clean lets him play comedy nights, concert tours, conferences, churches, banquets and corporate events across the country, and he has been master of ceremonies and comic at an education foundation's dinner and auction and at a convention of professional Santas.
He brings more than thirty years as a pastor and speaker to the stage, and as an ordained minister who has led more than a hundred funerals he created Die Laughing, a comedy show staged in a funeral-like setting, complete with casket and flowers, that finds the funny side of life, death and the afterlife. His Dry Bar Comedy special, What 50 Looks Like, answers the question of what fifty looks like, and Dry Bar Comedy posted it in full on its YouTube channel in October 2026 as Why You Should NEVER Mess With Your Wife. In 2019 he was a guest on American Podcast, talking about clean comedy and his years as a pastor.
