Who Emil Wakim is

American stand-up comedian and actor from the Chicago area who started comedy in Bloomington, Indiana, and is now based in Brooklyn. He was a featured player on Saturday Night Live's 50th season (2024–25), the show's first cast member of Lebanese heritage, and has done stand-up on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Don't Tell Comedy and Comedy Central Stand-Up Featuring. In April 2026 Deadline reported a Netflix deal for his first hour-long special, to be taped in October at the Comedy Attic in Bloomington.
