Who Bruce Bruce is

Bruce Bruce is a stand-up comedian and actor from Atlanta, known for storytelling and for performing with very little profanity. He made his first appearance on HBO's Def Comedy Jam in 1993, hosted BET's ComicView from 2000 to 2002 and Coming to the Stage in 2004, and released the specials Bruce Bruce Live (2003) and Losin' It (2011). In 2026 he released his first special in 15 years, I Ain't Playin', on Netflix; he also plays Brother Davis on Netflix's Family Reunion, has appeared in films including The Wash and Think Like a Man, and wrote the memoir Baby James Brown.
