Who Bill Bellamy is

American stand-up comedian and actor from Newark, New Jersey, who gained national notice on HBO's Def Comedy Jam, where he is credited with coining the phrase 'booty call'. He was an MTV VJ and host of MTV Jams and MTV Beach House, starred in films including Love Jones and How to Be a Player, and hosted NBC's Last Comic Standing (2007–2008) and TV One's Bill Bellamy's Who's Got Jokes?. His specials run from Booty Call (1994) to I Want My Life Back (2022).
