Who Emo Philips is

Emo Philips is an American stand-up comedian known for his one-liners; Jay Leno called him the best joke writer in America. He has performed more than 7,000 shows across the English-speaking world, including a multi-week run at the Playhouse Theatre in London's West End, released the albums E=MO² and Live from the Hasty Pudding Theater on Epic Records, and had an hour-long HBO special.

On screen he demonstrated a table saw in UHF, played Salvador Dalí in Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, and voiced characters on Dr. Katz, Home Movies, Slacker Cats, Adventure Time and Welcome to the Wayne. He toured with "Weird Al" Yankovic in 2018 and 2022–2023, more than 200 shows on three continents. In October 2026 he headlines Acme Comedy Company in Minneapolis from 7 to 10 October, then The Plus in Eau Claire on 11 October.
