Your tour dates, on your own site. Free.
The D.O.C. tour dates widget puts your next shows on your website, up to date every day, with a Follow button for your fans and a link to your page on D.O.C.

Your free kit, in short
Free for comedians. No fee, no sign-up, no paid placement: nobody buys their way ahead of anyone else.
Your widget, live
The widget itself, with your dates from the Comedy Calendar. Switch the page behind it to see it on a light site or a dark one: it is D.O.C.’s dark card on both.
Put the tour dates widget on your site
Copy the code and paste it where your site takes HTML. You paste it once; your dates keep themselves current.
Where it goes
- WordPressa Custom HTML block
- Squarespacea Code block
- WixEmbed Code, then Embed HTML
- Any other siteanywhere in the page's HTML
The link inside the code is a plain link, so your fans reach your dates even where a site builder won't run the widget.
Your follow link
Share it wherever you talk to fans: your bio, your posts, your newsletter. A fan who follows you gets your new dates and news from D.O.C.

What your followers get
Fans who follow you get your news in their D.O.C. letter. Here is yours as it would read this week, from the Comedy Calendar, the comedy podcasts, the clips and the news on D.O.C.
A note to your followers
Say something to your fans in your own words, or offer a discount for a show. A note reaches only your followers, and it is marked as from you.

Your mail app opens with your note written in, addressed to D.O.C. Nothing goes to your followers until D.O.C. has read it.
Questions about the tour dates widget
Is the tour dates widget free?
Yes, for any comedian with a page on D.O.C. There is no fee and no paid placement: no one can pay to be shown ahead of anyone else, on the widget or anywhere on D.O.C.
Where do my dates come from?
From D.O.C.’s Comedy Calendar: shows listed by the rooms, the ticket sellers and your own tour page, brought up to date every day. A date missing? Add it to your SUCDb record and send it; it goes on the calendar once D.O.C. has read it.
Will it slow my site down?
It is small, it loads after your page, and your dates come in a second small file. It sets no cookies and tracks no one.
Will it look right on my site?
It is D.O.C.’s own dark card, set into your page the way any embed is, and it fits whatever width you give it, down to a phone. Your site’s own styles can’t reach in and change it.
Why does the code carry a link to D.O.C.?
The link takes fans to your page on D.O.C.: your dates, specials, podcasts and clips in one place. It is a plain link, so it works on any site, even one that won’t run the widget.
Who sees a note I send?
Only the fans who follow you on D.O.C., marked as from you. D.O.C. reads each note before it goes out, and notes stay PG-13.
How does D.O.C. know a note is from me?
The widget on your own site is the check: the site on your SUCDb record. Put it on, send your note, and it goes out once the widget is found there.
Can I take it off?
Any time: delete the code from your site. Your page on D.O.C. and your followers stay.
