Is Share My D.O.C. free?

Yes. Making, downloading and sharing these cards is free, with no sign-up. They are drawn on your device from the picks you made on D.O.C.

Where do my picks come from?

From this browser: your twelve as you chose them on Your D.O.C., in their places, and the Legends you voted in on Vote for the Legends. Nothing is filled in for you, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.

What goes on a card?

Your favorite comedians’ names, in D.O.C.’s colors and type, with your own words where you add them, D.O.C.’s logo, “Who’s on your D.O.C.?” and the link your friends follow. Names and type only, so a card reads clearly at any size.

How does “We share 9 of 12” work?

Send your link to a friend. When they send theirs back — from Your D.O.C. or Your Comedy DNA — paste it into the match card, and the card counts the comedians on both lists. Your card links to your list, so their friends can compare with you too.

Where do the links go?

The twelve, match and invitation cards link to Your Comedy DNA with your twelve in the address: a friend sees your list beside theirs and how many you share. “Why I love” and “I saw them live” link to that comedian’s page on D.O.C. The Legends card links to Vote for the Legends.

Which size goes where?

Pinterest pin, 1000 × 1500: a pin keeps turning up in searches for weeks. Feed, 1080 × 1350: Instagram and Facebook posts, where the taller shape fills more of the screen. Square, 1080 × 1080: anywhere a square fits. Story, 1080 × 1920: Instagram and Facebook stories, and TikTok.

How do I post it?

From your own account: download the image, or share it straight from your phone, and paste the caption. On a computer, Facebook’s share window opens with your link. For Pinterest, download the pin, create a pin on Pinterest with the image, and paste the caption. D.O.C. doesn’t connect to your social accounts or post for you.
